Privacy policy

Northern Rivers Care Network (ABN 29 451 052 214) respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you contact us or use our services, we may collect information such as your name, contact details, suburb and information about the supports you're seeking. If you become a participant, we collect the additional information needed to deliver your supports safely and bill them correctly.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the supports you ask for
  • To plan, deliver, roster and invoice services
  • To meet our legal and safety obligations as an NDIS support provider

We do not sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing without your consent. We only share it where needed to deliver your supports (for example, with your plan manager or support coordinator, with your agreement) or where the law requires.

Website forms, cookies and analytics

Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered to us by a secure form service and then handled as described above. Please don't include sensitive health information in a website form — we'll collect anything needed securely once we're in touch.

This website does not set cookies or run analytics by default. If we introduce analytics in future, this policy will be updated and any required consent will be requested first.

Photos and testimonials

We only use photos or quotes of identifiable people with their informed, written consent, which can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.

Access and questions

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're able to. Contact us on (02) 6602 9410 or support@northernriverscarenetwork.com.

Feedback & complaints

Feedback — good or hard to hear — makes our support better, and you have every right to give it. Raising a concern will never affect the quality of support you receive from us.

Talk to us first, if you're comfortable

We'll acknowledge your complaint promptly, look into it properly, keep you informed, and tell you what we've changed as a result. You're welcome to have a family member, friend or advocate support you at any point.

Independent options

You can also complain directly to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission — you don't need to raise it with us first, and it's free:

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 000.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website. It's built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, including:

  • Text and colours chosen for strong contrast and readability
  • Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
  • Properly labelled forms and headings that work with screen readers
  • Layouts that adapt to zoom, large text settings and small screens
  • Reduced motion for people who've set that preference on their device
  • Large, easy-to-use buttons and touch targets

If anything on this site is hard for you to use, please tell us — we'll fix it, and we'll happily provide any information in another format (over the phone, in print, or in plain English). Call (02) 6602 9410 or email support@northernriverscarenetwork.com.
